Hi, The only fully indexed censuses for the whole of the UK are the 1881, 1891 and 1901. The 1881 is online on familysearch (except for Scotland) and it is also possible to buy the discs. The 1891 is available to subscribers to ancestry and some Family History Societies have indexed it as well. I've heard the indexing is not that good. The 1901 is online for England and Wales and Scotland. None of the others are fully indexed. County Family History society volunteers have indexed some censuses for their counties. Some have transcribed the whole census and sell it on CDs. Others have just indexed it so you need to view the original for full details. Your search engine should find the FHS website of the county of your interest and you will see what has been done. Hope this helps, Gwynne

Hi Jarie, I think but wouldn't swear to it that 3 censuses are name indexed (not always correctly and not always 100 % complete) 1881 U.K. census on LDS Familysearch website 1891 U.K. census on Ancestry.com 1901 U.K. census on 1901 Online census of England & Wales These 3 are probably also sold on CD's by various companies and may be indexed.
