That can be true Judy but we shouldn't get paranoid about spyware and reject everything. The above utility is provided free by a company that sells other software . It has been around for some time and works after clearing out spyware. I would not have posted it if I thought it hazardous. I agree however that downloads should be done with caution. Bob

Those neat little downloads, more often than not, installs a spyware program on your compuer! Uninstalling the spyware, often, will render the original download you wanted unusable and they work hand in hand. Judy

A nice little utility that keeps your computer time updated from an atomic clock is on http://www(.)chaossoftware(.)com/products.asp it works on WIndows 95 to XP and can be set to update daily or as requested. It is only about half a megabyte download. Can stop problems if yor time goes wrong. It is free. Make sure you scroll down to "atomic clock sync", save and the open. Bob
