There have been some long threads about this site before. Some people find it really useful and some find it a bit of a shock that their details are so freely available on the net. The information comes from the electoral registers so it is not 100% up to date. Bob

I just tried it. It seems you get about 10 free looks before it wants you to subscribe. If you know what/who/where you want, then you may get what you want for free.

it is an on line directory like directory enquiries you put in a surname eg JUDD and a place eg Epsom it will bring up all the JUDDS on the electoral roll and any in the telephone directory with name and address. if you have a rare name and know the area its good for tracing possible descendants, thne its up to you if you contact them or not. LESLEY, I have not heard of the one you mentioned but there a lot of good sites listed,if you go to Resource Centre (on the left of this page,click on that, then Useful Sites (middle of page) click on that, this gives you a list of sites. FreeBMD and LDS are both free

Can someone please tell me what b4usearch is? I have never heard of it. is it an online site? Lesley
