Hi Janice. It may just be worthwhile putting the key words 1851 lancashire into google. I have done it with parishes and found that some good souls have not ony transcribed information but have put it on the web. Roger In Sussex

I have a Tynemouth 1871 census which I bought from Northumberland and Durham History society it cost £14 99. I can do a look up for you if you want. I got a 1891 Northumberland census from S&N which cost £34 plus postage. The tynemouth one is easier to search than the Northumberland one. S&N advertise all the census but dont know what is ready yet apart from the 1891. Mary
