Hi Theresa If you have years and quarters, all you need is the address of the Registrar for the district person born,married,died in. They can provide cert copy from that infor [£7 - sometimes charge postage]. This way, GRO number not necessary. Badger Bill Worthing

FreeBMD, or, if you want to be more accurate, 1837online. The latter also has a link to where you can order them online (£7 each).

Hi all Could some please tell me were i get theses from i have been given some dates and quaters and would like to order some certs but need gro nos. i was looking on 1891 census this is when i found out i needed these no. Many thanks Theresa
