Can anyone one tell me were i can get a list of the inmates of Colditzs during the war. According to my father my Great Uncle Jim was in there but it would be nice to prove it.

The library at the National Archives (also called the Public record Office) at Kew holds alphabetical registers of almost 200, 000 British and Commonwealth PoWs held captive by Germany in WWII. They give details of name, rank and service/army number as well as regiment/corps, prisoner of war number. they are in three books - the 1st being for the British Army. Zoe
