Kath, its June Have you tried the Quick search on the right hand side of the board. Carol,my friend was very successful with that. it lists people with the same name and tells you who has got them in their tree, you can then email them to ask if it is the correct person

Kath,June again, Go to the guest board, Theresa(Cork Ireland) Has got a message on there, she's a lovely person, Click on her name, and you can send her an email, asking for sites that could be of use

Margaret

Margaret Report 16 Jan 2004 18:53

Surely 1837 online is England and Wales only Margaret

Paul

Paul Report 16 Jan 2004 20:17

Correct Margaret, it is for England and Wales. If the person was born in Ireland they will be on a separate index, which is NOT held in England. They are held in Belfast and Dublin (prior to partition for all Ireland, post partition for own countries only). A local LDS Centre should be able to get hold of the films, but a good idea of dates would be advisable. A look at Theresa's thread will also give ideas of where to look. Paul
