Thankyou Zoe, i will try that one.... hopefully it will shed some light on all the family names. They were gypsys so it is quite hard tracing them!! Rebecca.

What about trying the local funeral directors. They may hold records, especially if it is a smaller family firm.

Rebecca Try the Kingtson Local History Centre. they hold extensive back copies of the Surrey Comet and are incredibly helpful (if nota lttle busy). I'm sure if you had a date they would look up the paper for you. google them under "Kingston Local History" or there is a link from the Kingston Museum page I think Zoe

Is there anyone who lives in Woking especially Horsell area who would remember the 1950's?? I am looking for anyone that remembers my g grandfathers funeral,It was a very big funeral and the family were very well known in that area. Any help please?? Rebecca.
