Hello Debra I have tried Ancestry and find it has mainly USA information for my names anyway. They offer lists of hits but at a cost. As it is Scotland you are searching, have you tried http://www.sctbdm(.)com/ I found several links in my lot through them. Good Luck JimScott

Can someone advise what records are available on Ancestry. I am looking to find a death in Midlothian 1900 in the hope of obtaining a maiden surname. The death I require is Bridget Leonard dod 18.5.1900 in West Calder or East Calder.
