Hi Shelli, I went after my dad's WW2 info back in January 1998. I wrote to Army Records Centre, Ministry of Defense, Bourne Avenue, Hayes, Middlesex, UB3 1RF (tel 0208 573 3831). I think I paid twenty pounds. I found out what medals he got and what countries and regiments etc. I did have his army number from his 'dog tag' which helped. Good luck and best regards Selena |

I have the service number of two rellies who fought in WW2 and I would like to look at these. I am aware WW1 records are held at the PRO in Kew, but is there anywhere i can access WW2 records apart from contacting the dept concerned eg Innsworth for RAf??? Shelli |
