Hello Lisa, I use PAF which is free to download from the LDS site. It does not do graphics though. A lot of people on this site use Family Tree Maker which I also have, but I prefer the simpler PAF. |

At the risk of sounding stupid, what is the LDS site? Lorraine |

That would be Latter Day Saints, the family search site. Oh, and I use their free software too! |

Lisa....the LDS (Latter Day Saints) site is a site run by the Mormon faith. They believe that everyone's history should be recorded and they have many local offices all over the world, as well as their website, where information can be obtained. The website address is: www(.)familysearch(.)org (remember to remove the brackets. If your looking for a free family tree program, that allows you to add plenty of text, documents and pictures, there's one that I use (I also use Family Tree Maker) that can be found at www(.)genopro(.)com. Hello Lisa. See Threads by Julie Tebb and Susan McLintock which have a lot of input on this subject. It's Family Tree Maker for me by a mile. Available from S&N. I use version 7. Other people have their favourites of course, but FTM is very user friendly with lots of facilities. Enjoy. Keith |
