Hi there Thanks for all your help. This is my first foray into this county. I'm not very good with geography anyway. I did look in my Phillimores first but couldn't find it in there under Kent or any other obvious ones. Cheers Diane

Diane Blackheath is almost on the borders of Kent and London, just a few miles in it. Lynda

I have been given some census info giving place of birth as BLACKHEATH, Kent. I can't place this. The Blackheath I know of is near Greenwich. Can anybody help. This was from 1851. Thanks
