Records: are they under one roof, anywhere?

Hi Tricia, A Philimore's atlas (on reference at most libraries) will tell you where Parish records are held. The FRC and the SOG in London have copies of some but not all. The LDS have filmed some (so you can order them at an LDS centre for a small fee). But it's very unlikely that you will find all you want under one roof. Gwynne |

I think that i am right in saying that Parish Records are held by each individual county at their own records centres. |

I have reached the late 1700's in my research and I need to know how I can obtain church records for the areas that I need. Can I get information for various counties by visiting one source? Thanks Tricia |
