Hi, I have it. The coverage for Suffolk is very good. The website will tell you what the coverage for other counties is. I'm happy with it. Gwynne

Alison I also have the NBI, If I had known what was on it before I bought it, I wouldn't have bothered. Yes, Suffolk is OK but other counties are none existant or sparse. Check the site on http://www.ffhs.org.uk/General/Projects/NBI.htm to see the parishes covered before you buy Margaret

Hi Some people are doing look ups with this on the records board. I have requested several, mine have come back with a big fat zero. My relatives were London and Kent. Regards Christina

just to add that the NBI is also available online pay-per-view at www(.)familyhistoryonline(.)com also, since the data is supplied by FHSes, you can get the same data direct from the FHSes which supplied it, usually as booklets, fiches or CDs and often through a lookup service

I found quite a few of my 'incidental' relatives on the NBI, people like my g/g/g/grandfather's brother. It's nice, but if I were to buy it I'd want my direct relatives on it.
