Leeds library has them on film. You won't find anywhere that lets you read the old papers I'm sure they would be too delicate. The Yorkshire Post do sell more modern photos but also ask you to contact them for anything else. They are on http://www.ypn(.)co.uk/. An e-mail might be worth a go. There are other sources on the web but you usually need to have the date of the paper you want. Bob

Does anybody know how you can obtain photos/info which has appeared in newspapers. I have relatives who were sport mad and seemed to appear in the Yorkshire Post in the early 1900's. Do I approach them direct or are copies of papers kept at libraries and how far do they go back? Has anyone else found photos from papers, and how do you search, is it by surname? Any info appreciated. Thanks
