Thanks Bob and Caroline, I had gone the same route as you. Not much help at BT are they. I think Amanda might be right - Essex side. I had hoped there might be someone with a phone number starting with those numbers who might confirm it. Many thanks to you all, Nobby |

If you go to bt(.)com directory enquiries you can type area codes in and it displays a map. Don't know if thats what Caroline used but it still only shows outer London. Bob |

Sorry, can't help. All BT came up with was "Outer London" ..... doh!! as if we didn't know that already. Maybe someone else has an idea? |
