Hi, I have found records which are not on the IGI. I have also found several mistranscriptions as I said on a message before Christmas. I think it's worth having but don't believe anything until you have checked with the original. Gwynne |

Can anyone tell me if the VRI index version 2 is any different to the records you can view on familysearch. I noticed that the 1881 census cd all that is different is that it covers scotland where as familysearch does not. The reason I ask this, is I was thinking of purchasing the VRI index but if it is exactly the same as the info on familysearch then it would not be worth my while. Thanks |
