Help with outlook express.

Linda With OE open, click on View, then Layout and tick or untick the appropriate boxes. I always keep my preview pane open because at least I can see immediately whether any mail is spam which I can then delete immediately. I always have the box ticked which ensures that as soon as I come out of OE anything in the deleted folder is destroyed. Alternatively holding down the Shift key and pressing delete with an unwanted email highlighted will remove it immediately. Sue |

This is a possible virus problem. I havent got outlook express running at work, so apologies I cant remember how to turn off the preview box, but I know its in one of the options at the top of the page. Could be view options. |

Know this isn't about ancestors but can someone help, Have just changed my ISP and now using outlook express. How do I close the preview pane? as when I go into Inbox the newest message auto opens whether I want to read it or not, isn't this a possible virus problem? Lynn. |
