Its not totally free, Ive paid £5 each for census indexes for 90 days.

Errrrmmmmm.....before anybody launches into soap box mentality.....this ISN'T a PAY SITE!! It's a site run by S&N Genealogy Supplies/British Archive Supplies (who are commercail organisations), BUT THIS sit provides information about what people can expect from census information. It's totally free! Sue

I believe you can only get the name indexes from the above site, I have subscribed to them.

I wonder if this is the site in question: http://thegenealogist(.)sandn(.)net/ they have access to census for a subscription, but I have not tried them out yet.

Has anyone subscribed to any of the census's on this, do they think they are value for money? have just come across it but am a bit wary about spending money and finding the site a waste as i have done in the past
