Kathryn Don't spoil your Christmas by worrying. You have ordered it now anyway, so just wait and see. You will find out when it drops through your letter box, there is nothing you can do about it anyway now. This is the risk we always have when we order certificates. Margaret

I have just ordered a marriage certificate. I was sure it was the right one until just after I'd confirmed my card details. It is the 1877 marriage between William Henry Wakeham and Elizabeth Hooper in Stoke Damerel. On the 1881 census, there is a William H. Wakeham, married to an Elizabeth (with 2 kids), living in Stoke Damerel. She is 21 and her eldest wouldn't even be fully toilet trained - so they must have wed pretty recently. Also in the same house is a family surnamed Hooper - coincidence? Not to mention the fact my mother remembers an elderly 'uncle' Hooper visiting the house when she wasa child. This house is 15 Church Street. Their future son-in-law later moved in at number 23, and he and their daughter would live at number 12. Basically, I want everyone to tell me that I've ordered the correct marriage certificate. The names match, from William's middle initial to the Hooper co-residents. The dates and ages match. The location could not be more perfect. So why do I have this nagging doubt?!!
