Thank you so much, I have found Hugh Wallis site and its helps on quite a few things but, as you say Penwortham only to 1820, probably because of the fire. Thank you for your time. Merry Christmas and Happy Hunting 2004.

Hi Sally, Check with the county record office, they usually have copies of the BTs on microfiche or film. There is a chance the LDS may have filmed them so check their site as well. Gwynne

Please could anyone help? I am looking for Jane Wallbank born 1836 Penwortham Lancs. because St Mary's had a fire all records destroyed! Someone told me to look in Bishops Transcripts but, did not tell me how to find them. Would be very grateful if someone can, It's sad but, really would make my Christmas. Other people are thinking what fruit should I buy for Xmas? I' thinking where can I find the branches. Merry Christmas to all who read this.
