I have the reference for a birth cert which I want to order, but it is an early one and it's in Roman numerals. If I order online, can I copy it as written or do they prefer you to use 'normal' numbers?

Kathryn I would put "normal" numbers, as when you check on FreeBMB they have all been put that way, and when I was at the records office they converted them. Kim

Copy it as 'normal' numbers' is the way to do it. I have done this a few times. John

I ordered mine using the Roman numerals as shown on the 1837 site, and received the certificate with no problem. Jan.

Thanks everyone. I just wanted to make sure the records office would get me the right certificate whichever number system I gave.
