Thank you to you all for your kind comments. Bob - I think more than 99% have birth places & years. I originally uploaded my tree from a GEDCOM file 9 months ago - I have tried to estimate those few I don't know. Rosemary - I was born 237 years after my Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather Robert Baker, who was baptised in Hudswell, Yorkshire. So you can look it up on the IGI. And if you need another hint - Robert's father was John. Have a Merry Christmas! Paul

I just want to say thanks to all you helpful people who use Genesconnected! I've just reached 1000 names on GC and what a great way to reach the target - having acted on a tip off from another Genesconnected member I found my GGGGG Grandfather Robert Baker earlier today in the Northallerton Record Office and then within the last hour, I found his father on the IGI. And guess what... its 40 mins into my birthday too. Yipee! PB
