My Great, great Grandad John Timms is showing as being born Hammersmith/Westminster area on the 1881/1891 census, then on the 1901 census hes showing as being born in Warwick, I think I have found his birth on 1837 under the district Westminster and I have ordered the birth certificate from GRO to see if this is my relation. Which area did Hammersmith/Westminster come under in census's prior before 1881 so I can see if I can find him on them. |
