Having followed the wrong line slightly (haven't we all at some point) I sent for a certificate to find it was not my tree. I am almost 100% sure it belongs to another member of this site and I contacted this person to offer it to them. Guess what? The person concerned will not reply. I also have other information that may be useful. Ok, this person may already know this (and have the certificate) but would it have been such a huge problem for them to acknowledge my initial contact? What is the point of contacts? Very, very frustrating!!!! Chris

Chris- If that had been me receiving the e-mail I would have been so excited!! Couldn't you send a message to the Boards entitled 'Valuable info for ....' and then they surely must respond? Aileenx

Chris....don't fret. I've only recently realized that not everyone who's contacted me throught this site has had their e-mail reach my e-mail inbox. I didn't realize it until I read a post, here on the tips board, that others had the same complaint and another person pointed out that for some unknown reason, (I guess a glitch with GC?) that e-mail does not always go through but that if you check YOUR CONTACTS, you'll see that there were contacts made that you didn't know about. If people aren't recieving e-mail and don't know to check YOUR CONTACTS, they don't know someone has been trying to reach out. Perhaps this is what's happened in your case. Try sending e-mail through your ISP instead of the link here at the site. Judy
