Hi Sue, You can't buy the census from the LDS but you can "hire" it at one of their centres for £2.70. It stays there a month for you to search it. The Family History catalogue on the familysearch website will give you the number of the film you need to order. On the same site you can find the address of your nearest centre. Gwynne

hi gwynneth, just seen one of your messages. have tried lds site to buy 1851 census for durham, couldnt find it on their listings. any advise, sue.
