Kim There is a site called ScotlandsPeople http://www(.)scotlandspeople(.)gov(.)uk/ remove brackets Take a look at this, I believe that it is a very good site. I haven't used it myself as I don't appear to have any Scottish rellies, (yet) Margaret

Can anyone advise me how to find details of my grandparents born in 1905 in Scotland. Unfortunatly they are both dead and my father (an only child) can't remember details apart from the area they were born as he has had a stroke and his memory is very sketchy. Grandmother is Robertina Goodfellow Ferguson b. Hamilton 1905 Grandfather is Henry Richardson b. Motherwell 1905 I'm still new at this and have been banging my head against a brick wall.
