Irish passenger list to UK?

Hi Pauline, It's highly unlikely that you'll find any relevant passenger lists as Ireland was part of the UK in 1877. Carole

It may be so that they came/went on ferries, but there is a chance that passenger lists were made. I believe that the Public Records Office in Belfast holds a collection of passenger lists. Some may be in private donations, and it would no harm to ask them. Paul

Pauline, I asked this to Anthony Adolph (the GC pro genealogist) and he said that there would not have been any lists because they would have come on Ferries.

Pauline I have posted this on Craig Simpsons thread (see below) who was asking the same question This may not help you, but for others who are looking for passenger lists a good site is http://www(.)cyndislist(.)com/ It covers lots of things, but also has info for passenger list for all over the world. Found my family travelling to Oz in 1885, told me the date they left the date they arrived and that infant twins died on route. Hi, Does such a thing exist? I have ancestors who came to UK from Ireland c1877. Is there somewhere that I can check this out? Advice please. Thanks Pauline
