help about census decoder

have downloaded it, but what do i do now???? sorry if i seem thick. deb

Deb, start off with a normal search, ie: forename, surname, male, place of birth etc. When you find the results, at the top of the page it says 'process search' so do this. Next, search again this time with just a surname, male and place of birth or a place as a keyword, again, process the search. Do the same agin but this time with surname, female and place of birth or keyword and process search. Then do 'show results' (top of page again) and 'group by' ID. this should give you lists of the same family members. Hope you understand all of the above. Good Luck. Demelza.
