Jeannie I do my census searches at FRc and I just turn up but think their site says to check when coach parties are visiting as it does get busy on those days. Shelli |

Max or anyone? - Did I not read somewhere that Kew were going to put the 1881 and 1891 online - it was supposed to be completed by the end of 2002. Sue. |

Thank you very much Max. Is it worth visiting the office in Kew at all then? Also, can I just turn up at the FRC or do you have to reserve a time/date. Any advice would be much appreciated as I will have only a limited time to visit the offices and I want to make the most of it. Jeannie |

I will be visiting the UK at Xmas and plan a trip to London. Please could someone just confirm for me that to check census returns I need to go to the PRO at Kew and for checking indexes to order certificates I have to go to the FRC at Myddleton Street. Is there anywhere else in London where records are held. Many thanks Jeannie |
