Hear, hear!! I recently visited HALS in Hertford and they were very friendly and helpful. The same goes for BLARS in Bedford. I would really recommend a visit to an archive which will bring home to anyone what a lot of material there is to be researchrd. Anne |

Just wanted to thank the staff at HALS, who were not only patient with me being a newbie in the records office but really helped me out. THANK YOU. |
