Hi, Have you tried www(.)cyndislist(.)com/italy(.)htm loads of info for Italian research. you could also try www(.)rootsweb(.)com/(~)ukaifhg/index(.)html It's the Anglo-Italian family history site. Remove brackets ! Steph

Hi Deborah and Valerie My GGGrandmother was born in Naples in 1844. Someone told me that the Public Records Office have records of such births, and I have just paid for them to do a search for me (£11). I don't know how much information they need to have. I only have a christening date and place which I got from the LDS site. I will let you know if I have any joy!!

Anybody have a clue if and how I would go about looking up a birth in Italy , I possiable have the region but only possiable a year , is this an impossiable task , also the person would only be about 60 years old now .
