Do you mean you exported a gedcom file from PAF and then tried uploading it on here ? If so, the first thing to check is that your tree on here is empty apart from yourself and that the details for yourself match those in your gedcom. Hope this helps

Gloria, don't know the answer to your problem but if you ever find it please pass it on to me! I thought I knew what I was doing on this thing but I have tried for two days to get my .PAF to upload. Obviously not as clever as I thought I was. Charles.

Hi If you look at the Help?FAQs to the left of here there a section on importing your Gedcom file. It mentions PAF and says they have to be converted into something else. Beats me but it might help yiou. janet

Gloria in Paf5 ( with your file open) click file, then export. In the dialog box that appears click "other5.5.Gedcom". Then in the box next to that select ansel. Then click export. then give it a name a save it somwhere like my documents. If all goes well. Then select the file in GC and upload. Good Luck. Bob

I just followed Bob's instructions and uploaded my PAF file. Don't know what all the fuss is about, it's so simple! Thanks Bob.
