1901 decoder help pleeeease

I've never used the decoder as I've been put off by others saying it was complicated. Is it worth it and what extra can it do? Jeanette

I have been using computers for more than 20 years ( started on ZX 81 !) but found decoder strange at first, but it's aims are simple and it does work well. Bob

Susan Don't worry about it - I asked for a complete idiot's guide to use the decoder aswell cos I couldn't work it out. I downloaded it once, didn't see the point (cos I couldn't work it out) so I deleted it. Then after reading everyone's messages about how wonderful it was, I tried again but still couldn't do it. John Ferguson pointed me in the direction of his website and I have been having great fun since. Thanks again John!

Sue After you have pressed process search on all of the names you want, then press show results. Then press group by. Margaret

can anyone tell a dunce how to use the decoder.i cant group anyone cos the group heading at the top isnt highlighted..grrr susie
