I never have, but I was contacted, strangely, by the son of the person I was interested in who had put a message on the board that I hadn't read! Does that make sense?

Hi Amie, If your 'trying to find' message doesn't put you in direct contact with the particular peron or ancestor, there's is always some kind & helpful sole, who will try and point you in the right direction. And believe in the "Don't give up.." motto because sooner or later you'll find who you're looking for. Happy Hunting. Dawn.

Perhaps I am lucky as I have had 2 trees to add to my own including one fantastic one going back into the 1600's Keep trying as it is sometimes very frustrating but eventually you will get a hit. Mike

I have had luck by mailing people when I have been looking at my names summary, and finding that they have some of the same names as me. Don't be despondant Gary i have found 2 connections and 1 possible. Keep trying and you have more names than me and if you go far enough back I think you will find we are all distantly related!!
