On 1837 site and located my grandfathers birth entry but it gave the district as w.ward. Has anyone any idea where this is please? Can't find any other reference to it. Hope someone can help, Jim

Jim Checked on FreeBMD and it's volume 25 for West Ward which covers Newcastle upon Tyne up to Berwick, so will be in this area of the country.
