If she was claiming widows benefits she could have been charged with fraud. Kathy

Hi, She would have been investigated at the time and if she wasn't prosecuted it must have been considered "not in the public interest" so nothing could be done now. The illegal marriage would have been anulled. Gwynne

help. i know of a couple who got married & both gave false info. he did get put away for a while but nothing happened to her. she gave a false name on the marriage cert. he is now dead but she is still living. she knowingly married a married man who said he was a widower (he wasn't) shouldn't she have gotten into trouble? they wed in 1946! is it too late for anything to be done now?? can anyone help please??
