Can't find any alternative to the obvious. If he was the organist at the church where he married, maybe the vicar just put that and didn't bother to put his paid job too. I have just received marriage certificate for my gt.grandparents Robert Willis and Elizabeth Hedworth English 1872, St. Marys Parish Church, Gateshead. I know Robert worked in the Iron industry, but his occupation is given as Organist on the cert. Please has anyone any ideas how I can find more about this. thanks Anne |
