please can somebody give me a few ideas,my brain is hurting so much now. my mums dad was born in battersea(she thinks!)in c1898.he had 4 older brothers ,tom, jack, alf, and dan,his name was albert,.he had a sister called louisa mary.mum doesnt know if the brothers names are shortened or not. i have looked on 1881,1891 and 1901 and still cant find them!! mum was only young when her dad died so she doesnt know much about the family.i found nan in 1901 but cant find her parents in 1891 or 1881. any ideas please mum says her dad was born 27/1/1898 but i cant even find him on 1837. is there a site where i can find the census records after 1901?? susie just spoken to mum and shes given me some new info..such as dates!! g/dad was born 27/1/1897 not 1898 and he died on 13/9/1946 so all i have to do is buy the certs. thankyou mum susie

Dear Susan, I did a quick search on 1901 census & there are only a few Daniel Roberts born in London (assuming that's what Dan is short for). One is 14 & two are 16, which would sort of fit. Is it worth checking out these households and see if you get a match? Steph
