Militery marriages

Can any one advice me where to search for militery marriages pre-1920's. Thanks Sue

Sue If the marriage was in this country, I would imagine that it was registered as normal. Try the FRC or 1837online. GRO indexes are at many local studies libraries or county record offices as well. If it was at a British base abroad, I would think that it was still registered, but don't quote me on that. Margaret
