Hi Kathleen, Thanks for that suggestion. Didn't occurr to me! It should have done as I am a member of the Sussex Family History Group. I will look into that idea. Thanks again, Linda. |

Linda, Maybe the Liverpool and South West Lancs FHS might be interesed in your find, they may like to borrow it from you,and transcribe the info and could make the info available on their site. Kathleen |

Hi Linda I am sure the information you have would help someone, if Andrew is willing to give it some thought I think there would be others that could help him, maybe even connected to the GC site so members could click onto it like they do the boards. Valerie |

Hello Valerie, Yes, perhaps they will. I just wouldn't know where to start! One of the things in the journal is a list of 450 + people who sailed from Ireland via Liverpool to New Orleans aboard the ship 'Ticonderoga' on November 2nd, 1850. It must be useful to someone mustn't it? Linda. |

Would gladly build a site if I thought it was possible for people to add any info they had wanted others to see. I suppose with a bit of thought (and hair pulling) it can be done Andy |

Hi Linda I know what you mean, it would be nice to repay all the help we get, perhaps one of the computer buff's thats a GC member could help you to set-up a web page and put in the information, that way you would get your wish. Valerie |

Hi Andrew, I wouldn't have a clue how to. lol. I'm not at all competent on the computer but I am learning a little more each day! I would just like to help someone to repay the kindness that has been shown to me by GC users. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. Linda. |

Today I had the good fortune (for someone!) to find a 1987 Irish Family History Journal. It contains so much information; i.e. parts of 1851 Census, Lancaster Castle Gaol, 1881 Plymouth and Liverpool Census, Memorial Inscriptions in Liverpool and USA. I am sure it would be of interest to someone but don't know how to share it! Suggestions please. Linda. (East Sussex) |
