Christine There are 12 Bawdens in the 1901 Census in Walthamstow: John, 43, b. 1858 City of London, occ. Album Bookcage Gilder Annie, 42, b. 1859 Clerkenwell Alice, 18, b. 1883 Clerkenwell, occ. Gentlemans Neck Tie Maker Florence, 14, b. 1887 Islington John, 12, b. 1889 Islington Charles, 8, b. 1893 Walthamstow Lillian, 5, b. 1896 Walthamstow William, 3, b. 1898 Walthamstow William, 75, b. 1826 St Pancras, occ. Tailor They are all living together. The other 3 are: Thomas, 56, b. 1845 City of London, occ. Printers Labourer Elizabeth, 26, b. 1875 London St Lukes Lillian, 2, b. 1899 London St Lukes I hope the Florence listed is yours and will give you something more to go on. Sue |

my mothers birth mother is named on her birth cert as Florence May bawden, living in walthamstow, london E17 in 1921, I am trying to trace the family as i know my mother had a sister who was younger, and i would love to trace her family, i am stuck i think i have found florence on the 1891 cenc, but i am having no luck finding out anything else. any suggestions would be appriciated |
