Is it possible to export it as a gedcom file and use that as a backup. Once you have this file, and you have some free webspace from you ISP, you could also ftp the file to this webspace. If you need to know how to do this, please email me, so that I can ensure you know what I am talking about.

Not heard of this £100 disk ! I've downloaded the same programme and have problems now I've put it on floppy - I can't seem to print any of the info off. Have I got to download all over again to do this ? There's such a lot of it. I'm a novice to all this computer stuff so have I gone wrong putting it on floppy in the first place ? Mary Brookw

I have downloaded the PAF from "Family Search" at the end of putting data in each time I get a screen coming up to say "do I want to back it up, I click yes. But the thing that is bothering me is that I want to back it up on a disc, would I need any special sort of disc for this? I was speaking to someone today and they were saying I needed a special disc, it would cost about £100 for it, I have been backing it up on a floppy disc but as I have a lot of info on it now I think I need something to take it all. Please help as I am loosing sleep over this, in case I loose all my data. Regards Sue...............
