Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 1,431 Send Message	After looking for a few months,I have finally found my grans family.Her mum married after she was born,but nan was given her mums maiden name.After receiving some new informtion from Cumbria records office I have spent the last 3 hours and £15 on 1837online looking for children from the subsequent marriage.I found 3 children,then my dad remembered that one of his mums brothers had died when he was young,so i looked again and found a death of not one,but all 3 children!!No the wonder my nan didnt talk about her family much.She blamed herself for killing one of her brothers because she fed him a piece of rotten fish,Ill have to order their death certs to see if this is correct.I feel sad now but at least it is one line of searching I can close Anna
