I think that the new page numbering system is better than before and will be very good when modified. I hope that all GC members will also use the new Records Board for look-ups and keep this board for tips, as was intended. Thanks GC. Amanda

Nina, Try using your "back" button on your internet browser and that should take you back to the list you were on rather than having to go back t the first page. GC are working hard lately eh? Well done GC and thanks for listening to us!!

######################################## Dear Members, We are pleased that the majority of you like the improvements to the Message Boards. We have noted your comments and will try to make the page numbers a different colour so that you can easily identfy which page you are on - this may take a few days so please bear with us. ########################################

George That is no different to when it just had a previous 20 button. If you want to come back to a message later then you need to write the message number down.

The other problem with this is go away for a couple of hours and the thread will not still be on page one, so writing down page numbers is a waste of time. TB moves so quickly especially when people just nudge to get their thread back to the top. George

Hi Nina, Thanks for that! Just tried it out, you're right - page 1=0, 2=1, etc. Not very obvious tho' is it? Something on screen would be much more helpful. Debbie

I thought this as well initially. Would like a next/previous button as well. Or the page number you have visited to change colour. Failing that I just look at the number at the end of the address bar - I think it is 0 for page 1.

Not sure about this new page numbering malarky. There is nothing to remind you which page you're on! Have just got to the bottom of a page, having dipped in and out of several threads, and couldn't remember what page I was on. Had to go back to the beginning and find where I was. Somehow defeats the object, or am I just being a bit geriatric! Debbie
