Does anyone have access to the 1861 Romford (Essex) Census & would be prepared to check out a reference for me please? From the Index, I know that this family were living there: Piece 1069 Folio 5 William HULL 38 Head (Platelayer?) Ann HULL 34 wife Mary Ann HULL 13 dau ? John Henry HULL son 10 ? Possibly also William's parents were living with them as they were listed on the same page: Henry HULL 70 Mary HULL 69 Thanks in advance - any help would be appreciated. Nigel Fairbairn

I might be able to look at this at the Essex Record Office at Chelmsford, but I can't say when I'll next get there.

Thanks Brian for your kind offer. If anyone else comes up with the information in the meantime, I'll let you know, but otherwise that would be much appreciated. Kind Regards, Nigel

Hi Nigel, The county record office may copy the entry for you for a small charge, as you have the reference. Suffolk RO do it. It was 50p last time I had a copy done. Hope this helps, Gwynne

Thanks Gwynne, I'll contact the ERO tomorrow to see if they do a similar service. Cheers for the tip. Best Wishes, Nigel
