Hi Carol My John vickery was born in 1860 in St James,Paddington so he would be around 31 years old. I found a John Vickery in the 1891 trade directory living at the forementioned address and wondered if he was the same one as my Vickerys appear to have lived in the Paddington area between 1849 - 1901 and beyond. I can't believe your search produced 150 Vickerys! My John obviously isn't there. May I be so bold as to ask whether you could possibly look up James Vickery aged 54, in Paddington.
