Found on a census form instead of Householder names; "Can't understand their accents, Irish I think: 4 persons, 2 of age, 1 female and 1 male child" Are they yours?

What area and address etc. Did Enumerator work during last Census (2001) - we would never have 'got away' with anything like that!! Hazel

At least, the enumerator was honest, he could have just said nobody was in.

Hi Hazel; Not sure what area, I think it was in Liverpool. Just made a note of it when I was trawling through 1891.

I bet they were my lot - some of my living rellies are STILL as difficult as that today! (Especially the Irish ones with really strong brogue accents!) -Kat
