Could some kind soul please do me an 1851 lookup for Sussex. The name is John Dray and he was born in 1849 - sorry that's all I have to go on! Ginny

Ginny - put Sussex Weald into Google - this site has lots of Sussex info including 1851 census - had a quick look there are 59 people listed under Dray! Might give you a lead. Only thing is it only covers a few East Sussex Villages. Sue.
