Gordons transcribed census discs are good. They include scans of original pages as well as a transcribed list. Gordon is in Canada, but my credit card does not allow it to be used in a foreign country (anti theft device, they call it) but Gordon is happy with UK payments, and he only charges £2 postage, not bad for airmail from Canada. You can find him at www(.)mycensuses(.)com but keep trying, the server is down at the moment.

For census CDs, there are the following websites: http://www(.)archivecdbooks(.)org http://www(.)genealogysupplies(.)com http://www(.)stepping-stones(.)co(.)uk Having not yet bought a cd from any of them, I cannot personally make a recommendation but would be interested to hear what others think. I have seen alot of people mention census cd roms and parish register books and cd roms. Can anyone give me a site with the best place to order these type of things from. Thanks
